The DOT eDNA Sampler is designed to offer autonomous in situ sample collection. The eDNA Sampler is:

Self Priming.
Self Cleaning.
Self Preserving.
The DOT eDNA sampler is designed for remote, long-term eDNA sample collection in locations that are difficult to reach and maintain via vessel and service technician. Samples can be scheduled by date and time, triggered by depth/pressure, or configured to be triggered by a 3rd party sensor/device via RS-232 serial data connection. The self-cleaning and preserving functions dramatically reduce cross-contamination between each of the sample filters. The quick-change filter cassettes hold nine DNA filters each and the eDNA Sampler can hold enough reagent chemistry to clean and preserve three cassettes (or 27 DNA filters). Reagents are held, stored, and deployed onboard the sampler.
